More than ever we need to have the ultimate authority to decide what is right in our children’s education. Homeschooling our children offers that freedom and flexibility. Flexible schedules and open source knowledge can allow for astounding results.
However that level of freedom can be a great burden. Besides complying with all applicable laws and registration, you need to guide students in what they should study and prepare all that material, as well as feedback and advice along the way. That’s why Greatheart Academy isn’t just an add on to your own homeschool curriculum.

As a Christian organization we are deeply familiar with the need to support each other, especially when it comes to sharing our core values. Especially in high school, students need a strong biblical worldview explicitly taught, as well as masterful instruction in subjects ranging from art to calculus.
We are keenly aware that most families in the Bay Area and increasingly world wide are simply not equipped to provide their kids a full time homeschool education. That’s where Greatheart is here to help. We provide instruction and legal coverage for getting your student through high school in California, or advising and planning services for those unable to attend our physical school. Furthermore with our firm commitment to parent authority in education, everything is under your ultimate control.
Public School Access
Low fees, generous scholarships
At Greatheart Academy we are tasked like our namesake to guide people to God’s Kingdom. We know from personal experience that often those in the most need of support are the least able to afford it.
Tuition for in person guidance and tutoring is usually $3000 for the year (compared to tens of thousands for other full time private schools in the area). In addition, hybrid homeschool services are available starting at $1500 per year.
