Homeschooling your kids offers the ultimate in freedom and control for your family. It allows you to flex your schedule and customize your curriculum to your family’s goals. It frees all students – struggling or gifted – to leave the confines of a cookie cutter approach to education that forces all to march forward at the same pace, regardless of learning style or aptitude. Best of all it allows you to transfer your values and principles to your children, not those set by a distant school board.

But full time homeschooling can be a daunting task, requiring hours pouring over materials, expertise in multiple subject areas, and record keeping and legal compliance. Greatheart Academy’s mission is to sweep aside all those issues for families and to provide a customized education controlled by the family.

We leverage the massive amount of high quality instruction offered freely online and pair that with a strong Bible based worldview tutoring and counseling. By letting students take greater responsibility of their own education while at the same time coming along side them as guides we believe that the students and the families will be encouraged to reach their highest potential.
